The low-cost carrier will from Frankfurt start daily flights to New York JFK on 16 June, followed by Boston (four-weekly) 21 June; Montreal (three-weekly) on 16 July, and daily to Toronto from 16 July.

This add to the already announced daily flights from Berlin to New York JFK Airport from 7 June, 2019, followed by Boston (four-weekly) from 9 June; and Toronto Pearson (three-weekly) from 10 June.

The carrier has continued to grow its fleet and now has five Airbus A321neos and 10 Boeing 737s and a further 23 Boeing Max 9, Airbus A321neo and Airbus A321LR on order.

Primera Air also started new long-haul flights on 24 August from Brussels Airport to North America and also runs transatlantic services from London Stansted Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport alongside an extensive European short-haul network.
