Turkish Airlines has reported a strong September with growth in passengers numbers, revenue per kilometres and a load factor of 83.4 per cent.
Passenger traffic went up by one per cent in the month reaching about seven million passengers, and the load factor increased by two percentage points on the same month last year. The load factor on international flight was 83 per cent and on domestic 87 per cent.
From January-September, increase in demand and total number of passengers was 10 per cent and 12 per cent, respectively, over the same period of last year. Total number of passengers reached 58 million.
The load factor for the period improved by three points up to 82 per cent. The international load factor increased by about three percentage points to just over 81 per cent and the domestic load factor was up two points to over 85 per cent.
