
The Aeroflot Group carried 47 million passengers in the first 10 months of the year – 10.3 per cent more than the same period in 2017.
The Group which includes Aeroflot, Aurora, Pobeda and Rossiya Airlines, had a load factor of 83.7 per cent, up year-on-year (YOY) by 0.2 percentage points.
Aeroflot alone carried 29.9 million passengers, a YOY increase of eight per cent but the load factor decreased by one percentage point to 81.6 per cent.
Last month, the Group carried 4.8 million passengers, a YOY rise of 11.4 per cent. Aeroflot carried 3.1 million, a YOY increase of eight per cent.
In October 2018, the Group added four aircraft: three Boeing 737-800 and one Boeing 777-300. One Airbus A320 was phased-out. As of 31 October 2018, the Group fleet had 364 aircraft.
Aeroflot alone added two Boeing 737-800 aircraft as well as phased-out one Airbus A320 aircraft. As of 31 October 2018, it had a fleet of 251 aircraft.
