Budapest headquartered low-cost carrier Wizz Air has announced further growth in destinations and capacity from Norway’s Oslo Airport in 2019.
In April, the airline starts with four weekly flights to Budapest, and in September Wizz Air will start up a daily route between Oslo and Krakow.
Wizz Air has previously announced flight to Gdansk, and with the new routes, the airline will have 18 weekly departures from Oslo.
The news has been welcomed by the airport’s operator Avinor and director of traffic development, Jasper Spruit said: “There is a significant growth in the in-bound tourism from Poland, and we are pleased to see Wizz Air increasing their offering to travelers from Oslo.
“A well-developed route network is essential for the travel industry and Norwegian businesses.”
