No1 Lounges today opens a new bigger and upgrades lounge at Edinburgh Airport which replaces its previous location at the Scottish gateway that continues to see its passenger traffic rise strongly.

The stylish new space has high ceilings, with full-height, dual-aspect windows, making it the only lounge in the airport to offer views of the runways, the surrounding countryside and the Forth Bridges.

Inside, the lounge features a fluted marble bar as its centrepiece serving a range of craft beers, premium spirits, whiskies and sparkling wines, with various tiered seating areas and new-look bistro, where guests can enjoy freshly prepared self-serve and made-to-order dishes.

This lounge is one of 11 in the UK, with others located at Heathrow Airport terminals three and four, Gatwick Airport and Birmingham Airport – where it has also recently opened new lounges.

No1 Lounge chief executive, Phil Cameron, said the “bigger, better” No1 Lounge at Edinburgh Airport brings the airport’s passengers a “greatly improved lounge experience, genuine pre-flight luxury and excellent value”.

He added: “We have been operating a lounge at Edinburgh Airport since 2014, which has been increasingly popular with business and leisure travellers alike. This new opening is a sign of our commitment to Edinburgh’s passengers to deliver them the very best departure experiences.”
