Transport Canada denies falling human faeces were from aircraft

Transport Canada says aircraft were not involved after receiving 18 reports of people being covering in a smelly substance in westerm Canada, the Guardian has reported.

The publication says environmental scientists have suggested the splattering was the result of a ‘poopsicle’ – which occurs when a leaking aircraft lavatory ices over and then slowly melts as the aircraft descends.

Transport Canada is Canada’s transportation authority and takes responsibility for aviation and it has denied any responsibility that the human faeces which fell from the sky in western Canada were from aircraft and said the matter is now officially closed.

Local media in British Columbia and the Northwest Territories have reportedly been contacted by at least 10 citizens who claim to have been covered in the substance falling from the sky.
