FIA18: Vistara orders six Dreamliners with options for four more

Boeing and Vistara yesterday confirmed the joint venture between Singapore Airlines and Tata Group, has agreed to order six 787-9 Dreamliners, with options for four more aircraft at the 2018 Farnborough International Airshow.

The agreement, valued at $2.8 billion at current list prices, will enable Vistara to become the first operator of the 787-9 in the Indian marketplace.

In addition, the new Dreamliners will mark the first widebody aircraft for the Indian airline and will help launch long-haul operations to destinations across the globe.
