WFS wins easyJet ground handling contract in Edinburgh

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has been awarded five-year ground handling contract by easyJet for its operations at Edinburgh Airport.

Commencing 1 November, 2018, WFS will provide passenger and baggage handling services as well as ramp handling for 13,000 easyJet flights a year.

EasyJet is the largest carrier in Edinburgh and flies four million passengers a year from the Scottish capital to destinations across its European network.

WFS executive vice president for ground handling in Europe Middle East Africa & Asia (EMEAA), Will Facey said: “This is a major new contract that significantly supports our ground handling growth strategy.

“We look forward to delivering the highest standards of customer service and operational resilience in partnership with easyJet, underpinned by our shared commitment to best-in-class safety and security.”
