easyJet has launched its 33rd route from Bordeaux Airport to Essaouira in Morocco as it continues to expand its French west coast base.
The twice-weekly connection will start on 31 October and is likely to be serviced with one of the low-cost carrier’s Airbus A320s.
easyJet only opened its base at Bordeaux Airport at the end of March and it has allowed the airline to considerably increase its range of destinations from the city.
easyJet’s Deputy CEO in France, Reginald Otten said: “We are pleased to be able to offer them new direct routes to major French and European cities, as well as to sunny destinations which are particularly popular in winter.”
Bordeaux Airport director, Pascal Personne added it confirms the “strong development” of easyJet at the gateway.
