NAHCO appoints new non-executive director

Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) has appointed Olatokunbo A. Fagbemi as a non-executive director.

In a press statement sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, HAHCO said her appointment took effect on 15 August. Fagbemi took over from Denis Hasdenteufel who recently resigned from the positioned due to unstated reasons.

Fagbemi attended Cranfield University (UK), obtaining a certificate in Air Transport Management and Air Commercial Revenue Development and has studied at Harvard University and Lagos Business School and is an International Airport Professional (IAP), with certification from Airports Council International.

She years of experience in airport management, passenger handling, ramp handling, and cargo handling via her work in different airports around the world such as Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Nigeria, and Changi Airport in Singapore.

In its half-year report published earlier this month, NAHCO reported a profit after tax of N418 million, up on the N176 million reported in the same period of 2017.

NAHCO has announced new ground handling contracts with domestic and international carriers including ground operations for Max Air from Lagos and Kano, and handling of Hajj operations for Medview Airlines (pictured above).
