Aeroflot has launched new daily Airbus A320 routes on 1 July from Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport to the Italian cities of Naples and Verona.
The national carrier of Russia said flights to Italy are in high demand and it adds to routes it already runs to Rome, Milan, Venice and Bologna.
In 2017, Aeroflot carried over a million passengers on regular flights between these cities and Moscow.
Meanwhile, Aeroflot also started a new daily A320 route on 2 July from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Burgas in Bulgaria as it continues its network expansion across Europe.
Aeroflot will operate flights between Moscow and Burgas jointly with Bulgaria Air as part of a codeshare agreement.
