Passenger service at Sheremetyevo International Airport’s Terminal C will resume on July 23, when Aeroflot’s international flights move to Terminal C from Terminal D.

Aeroflot’s first flight from Terminal C is scheduled to depart for Istanbul at 21:25 Moscow time on July 23.

Its remaining international flights will be moved to Terminal C the next day.

The move is due to the growing demand for capacity in the terminal complex to accommodate the increase in international flights as new international air connections have been established.

Social distancing will be enforced, and PCR testing services and vaccination services will be available.

“The resumption of flights from Terminal C is an important event that signals the return of the airport to full-scale operation using the most modern and technologically advanced infrastructure facilities,” said Mikhail Vasilenko, Director General of JSC SIA.

“Terminal C opened in 2020 and is one of the world’s newest terminals.

“It offers the highest-quality services and comfort to passengers and guests of our base partner, Aeroflot Airlines.

“At the same time, compliance with all safety and health measures established by state authorities in the new environment is a high priority.”

The connected facilities allow passengers to use the services and technical facilities of both terminals, and transit passengers can move between terminals through the transit area in minimum time, which allows for faster connections and baggage services.
