Air Astana adds Tashkent flights via Astana from London, Paris and Frankfurt

Kazakhstani carrier Air Astana has launched new flights to Tashkent (Uzbekistan) via its hub in Astana from London, Paris and Frankfurt from 29 March next year.

Tashkent flights originating from London Heathrow will run three times weekly; from Frankfurt four times per week and twice a week from Paris.

Air Astana vice president of marketing and sales, Richard Ledger said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this twice weekly service to Tashkent from three of our European departure airports on what we believe will be a highly popular route.

“Interest in the Silk Road destinations continues to grow and the addition of Tashkent offers passengers the perfect opportunity to combine a visit to Kazakhstan with Uzbekistan to further explore the region’s fascinating history.”

Air Astana operates flights to over 60 domestic and international routes from hubs in Astana and Almaty utilising a fleet of Boeing 767, 757, Airbus A319, A320, A320neo, A321, A321neo and Embraer 190 aircraft.
