Air Astana enhances its international network and expands fleet

Growing Central Asian airline Air Astana has launched two new routes to the Russian Federation and has also taken delivery of its third A320neo family aircraft.

The Kazakhstan carrier now flies from Astana to Tyumen and Kazan in Russia adding to the Almaty – Kazan connections which it already operates.

The new Astana – Tyumen route commenced on 2 June and operates three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. It will be served by Embraer E190.

Air Astana’s second new route: Astana – Kazan, commenced on 3 June. The new flight operates on Sundays and is served by an Airbus A320 and Embraer E190 aircraft.

The new service supplements the existing Almaty – Kazan flight, which operates twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.
