Air Canada was welcomed at Stockholm Arlanda Airport

On Thursday June 13th, Air Canada was welcomed at Stockholm Arlanda Airport with an inauguration ceremony ahead of the first flights to Toronto and Montreal.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by H.E. Jason LaTorre, Ambassador of Canada to Sweden, Mr. Jonas Abrahamsson, CEO Swedavia, and MD, International Sales, Mr. Rocky Lo, Air Canada.

Jonas Abrahamsson, president and CEO of Swedavia says: “I am very happy to welcome Air Canada to Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

“Air Canada’s establishment at Stockholm Arlanda shows a great understanding of Stockholm’s central role as an important hub in the region.

“The new routes served by Air Canada will create an excellent connectivity which I think will benefit the market enormously,”

“The introduction of these new Stockholm – Toronto and Stockholm – Montreal routes mark a new chapter in the relationship between Canada and Sweden.

Starting on June 13th 2024, Air Canada will operate Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) – Toronto (YYZ) route two times a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.

The Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) – Montreal (YUL) route will be operated three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, starting on June 15th 2024.
