Air Canada has launched a new four-weekly seasonal Boeing 737 MAX 8 flight between Bordeaux and Montreal which will operate from 15 June to 15 September 2019.

The connection is the Canadian’s flag carrier’s fifth transatlantic route from Canada to France, adding to services to Paris CDG, Marseille, Nice, Lyon and Toulouse.

Air Canada’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Lucie Guillemette said it will give travellers a “high level of flexibility” enabling western France residents to reach Canada and Montreal and Canadian customers to discover the “riches of Aquitaine and its vineyards”.

Montreal Airports president and chief executive officer, Philippe Rainville said: “Air Canada’s launch of this Bordeaux-Montreal link improves our offering to this French destination that is so popular among the people of Montreal.”
