Air Europa has announced it is to begin flights to Casablanca and Tunisia from June, and will also begin flying more frequently to Marrakech.

The airline, part of the Globalia tourism group, will fly to the new destinations all year round, connecting through the airport hub of Madrid, and will fly to Marrakech daily.

Next Saturday, June 1, Air Europa will take off for the first time from Adolfo Suarez Airport Madrid-Barajas to Casablanca aboard the Embraer 195 fleet, with capacity for 120 passengers.

The airline will operate this route with four weekly flights in June and then from July 5th to August. From September it will link the two cities with two flights a week.

The good performance of the Marrakech route will result in flight frequencies to this destination becoming daily during the summer.

Air Europa also announced that on June 2 its new route to Tunisia will begin, with an Embraer aircraft linking Madrid and the Tunisian capital, Tunis. This route will have four frequencies a week from June to September, and two for the rest of the year.
