Air Europa has expanded its European network to 17 cities after launching new routes to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Athens and Alghero.

The venture by Globalia’s air division, Air Europa, into Scandinavia and Greece, as well as giving a larger presence in Italy, will begin in mid-June and continue until mid-September.

Specifically, the airline will fly from Madrid to both the Danish capital and the Swedish capital with three flights a week utilising its Airbus A330 fleet; and fly to Athens and Alghero twice a week.

With the launch of these four new routes Air Europa increases its European network and offers better flight choices for its passengers, who can also take advantage of perfect and fast connections to the airline’s transoceanic destinations, via its hub in Madrid.

Copenhagen, Stockholm and Athens are the airline’s debut in the respective countries; the company already operates in Italy, with flights to Rome, Milan and Venice.
