Latvian airline airBaltic has carried 125 200 passengers – five times more than during the same period last year.
In February 2022, airBaltic performed 1 920 flights.
Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “During the first months of the year, we saw continued recovery of the aviation sector.
“In January and February, we have already carried over 270 000 passengers, which is four times more than the beginning of last year.
“Currently, though, the dramatic situation in Ukraine has changed and will leave an impact to the recovery path.”
During February 2022, the 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic reached a level of 86.9%.
This means that more than 86 out of every 100 airBaltic flights departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.
