airBaltic Carries 38% More Passengers in July

During July 2021, Latvian airline airBaltic has carried 209 146 passengers or 38% more than during the same period last year.

In July 2021, airBaltic performed 2 559 flights.

Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “This summer has shown us some promise and an indication that the recovery of aviation industry has started. Notably, load factor on our flights has reached its highest level since the beginning of the crisis.

“Still, the number of passengers carried in July is 64% lower than in July 2019.”

During July 2021, the 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic reached a level of 78%.

This means that more than 78 out of every 100 airBaltic flights departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.
