airBaltic has boosted its route network and connectivity from Riga and Talinn for the summer season of 2019 and will start eight new links.

The airline will fly five more services from Riga and three from Talinn utilising its fleet which now consists of many Airbus A220s.

airBaltic will launch flights from Riga to Dublin (four-weekly) and Stuttgart (four-weekly) from 31 March and to Lviv (four-weekly) from 1 April along with Riga to Kos (one weekly) from 11 May and to Menorca (one weekly) from 12 May.

In summer 2019, the airline will introduce three new destinations from Tallinn to Malaga, Brussels and Copenhagen.

airBaltic chief executive officer, Martin Gauss said: “The busy summer season will start already this month. As we continue to receive new aircraft, we can further develop our network and serve additional destinations as well as add more frequencies on the most popular existing routes.

“We are well aware of what the market demands, and we are here to provide the best connectivity to and from Riga.”

“The most popular new destinations from Riga so far have been Stuttgart, Dublin and Greek island Kos. Ultimately, we aim to connect Riga and the Baltics with one stop to almost any destination in the world,” Gauss added.

airBaltic serves over 70 destinations from Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius, via its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, the CIS and the Middle East.
