airBaltic Launches New Route from Vilnius to Oslo

After receiving all of the necessary permissions, airBaltic announces that it plans to launch direct flights from Vilnius to Oslo on May 28, 2020.

Martin Gauss, CEO of airBaltic: “Until the crisis began, we provided the best connectivity to and from all three Baltic capitals. Now we return with a clear target to maintain our positions in Lithuania and the Baltics. The new route has seen a significant demand by our passengers.”

The safety and health of our passengers, our employees and the society stand above all. All airBaltic passengers on board are provided with a facemask and disinfectant wipes. Our dedicated and professional airBaltic team will continue work in order to safeguard airline’s smooth operations,” M. Gauss added.

airBaltic is in close cooperation with the authorities to monitor the situation and is flexible to adjust the flight schedule if needed. Passengers are strongly suggested to check the travel regulations and airport restrictions on the official websites or with local embassies before travelling. Regulations are changing rapidly and vary per country, therefore always make sure you have the latest information to have a smooth journey.

Full schedule and tickets for the flights are available on the airBaltic website. In addition, a temporary offer for all new airBaltic reservations made by May 31, 2020 is available, offering passengers to rebook them free of charge to a new date. Only one date change is permitted.

Since May 18, airBaltic performs daily direct flights from Vilnius to Riga. On May 25, airBaltic will also resume flights from Vilnius to Tallinn.
