The Latvian national airline airBaltic has announced its upcoming mobile app, equipped with new features, which they say will significantly improve the travel experience for all customers.

The new app is planned to launch in mid-2024 and will offer a smooth and user-friendly experience with features designed to enhance every aspect of the airline’s service experience.

The new features include a user-friendly interface and use the latest technologies for better performance.

airBaltic has added features that will allow travellers to manage trips more easily, track their status, and receive updates on changes.

The app will support more customization, such as adding baggage and selecting meals. The airline is also introducing digital boarding passes in the app for easier airport access and expanding features for airBaltic Club members.

Māris Rudens, Head of Marketing Loyalty, Customer Experience, Partnership at airBaltic: “We are excited to reveal the upcoming enhancements to our brand-new mobile app, designed to significantly elevate the overall travel experience for our customers.

“These updates are just the start. As we launch the first phase of our app in mid-2024, our passengers can expect even more advanced features to enhance their travels with airBaltic.”

The new airBaltic app will replace the current one, which is used by over 250 000 people annually, has more than 150,000 active users each month, and facilitates over 5,000 bookings each month. It will be available to all airBaltic customers and will feature a straightforward enrollment process for newcomers.
