Airbus revenues weakened by delays in engine deliveries

Airbus recently revealed a disappointing hit in its Q1 revenues following many delays in deliveries of engines to complete production of the A320neo aircraft.

Speaking on the ‘challenging situation’ faced by the company, Tom Enders stated that the company is suffering due to hold-ups by engine providers.

The A320neo jet is facing a more troubled production than expected due to the engine delays.

The company, currently facing a probe by the Serious Fraud Office, also recently had to slash production of the A330 due to weak demand.
