AMETEK MRO Asia has been announced as a Honeywell Authorised Repair Centre (ARC) for Traffic Collison Avoidance Systems (TCAS).
This equipment detects aircraft at various degrees of proximity and will alert the cockpit when other aircraft breach separation requirements.
The ten-year agreement will be for TPA100 series fitted to A320, A330, A340, B737, B737NG, B737MAX, B747, B757, B767 and B777 aircraft and covers full test and repair capability for these Honeywell products enabling AMETEK MRO Asia to provide customer support worldwide.
David Corish, divisional vice president of AMETEK MRO Asia, emphasises the Company’s core strategy of supporting world-leading commercial aviation platforms with best-in-class solutions for customers. “We will deliver 100% OEM licensed and 100% OEM trained customer support for these critical TCAS units which are anticipated to see a significant increase in repair requirements over the coming years.

“Importantly, as a channel partner, AMETEK MRO has the license for all future software upgrades and this will ensure sufficient capacity to support customers, especially in the Asia Pacific region.”
