Aurigny has today confirmed the launch of twice daily flights to London City Airport (LCY) from Guernsey.

The flag carrier of Guernsey will commence services to and from LCY on 31 March 2024, with one-way fares starting from only £49.99.

The route will offer passengers enhanced connectivity from Guernsey to over 30 leisure and business destinations across the UK and rest of Europe via London’s most centrally located airport.

Passengers will also benefit from Aurigny’s interline agreement with British Airways CityFlyer (BACF), meaning they can enjoy seamless connecting flights to BA’s extensive network including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin and Zurich as well as leisure escapes to Florence, Ibiza, Malaga and Nice.

Andrew Hodges, Chief Commercial Officer, London City Airport, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Aurigny as the first new airline at London City Airport this year, demonstrating our commitment to growing as a business and offering new destinations to our passengers.”

Nico Bezuidenhout, CEO at Aurigny, said: “Guernsey is a tourist destination and an International Finance Centre.

“Many businesses on our beautiful island work closely with colleagues and clients in London and direct flights to London’s beating heart will also benefit anyone who wishes to explore the city’s many attractions.”
