Bangkok Airways adds two new routes from Chiang Mai

Thai carrier Bangkok Airways has launched two new routes from Chiang Mai to Krabi and Luang Prabang (Laos) and will start the sectors on 31 March and 2 April, respectively.

Chiang Mai-Krabi (one-way) service will be operated three-weekly on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays until 29 April but it will be adjusted to a daily flight from 30 April 2019 onwards, utilising a 144-seater Airbus A319 aircraft to service the route.

Chiang Mai-Luang Prabang (Laos) (round-trip) services will be operated three flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with a 70-seater ATR 72-600 aircraft, starting from 2 April onwards,

All flights will be operated from the carrier’s hub at Chiang Mai International Airport.
