Blue Islands, the Channel Islands’ expanding regional airline has re-introducing regular flights from Birmingham to Jersey – ideal for a perfect short stay break or long weekend.  Fares start at £44.99 one way.

Jersey is a popular route for West Midlands air travellers, who have enjoyed flying to the picturesque Island with its French influence, since 1985.  Flying with Blue Islands is designed to be as easy as possible, with simple transparent fares. Blue Fly includes 1 x 23kg luggage allowance as standard. Choose the Blue Plus fare for inclusive 2 x 23kg hold luggage allowance, complimentary seat allocation, double frequent flyer points and flexibility. See website for details.

Rob Veron, Blue Islands CEO said, “We are very pleased to reinstate the very popular route from Birmingham. The flights will initially operate four days a week, and for next summer we will increase frequencies with a daily service to Jersey and convenient onward connections to Guernsey.”

Jersey is a small Island with a big spirit, renowned for its attractive bays and award winning, clean beaches – each of them like a painting.  Offering an array of watersports, varied walks from heritage trails to country ambles, the vibrancy of the capital St Helier, heritage attractions and fine, locally sourced cuisine with the freshest ingredients from the land and sea; Jersey has something for every visitor.

Blue Islands is working with Visit Jersey to promote late summer/autumn breaks to Jersey. Flights from £49.99 one way are still available this September and October, it’s a world away in just over an hour.
