Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) has appointed Cindy Nichol as its new Chair, succeeding Kevin Dolliole of Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
Nichol, elected in October 2025, is currently Director of Airports for Sacramento International Airport, overseeing operations across four airports in the county.
She has previously held executive roles at the Port of Portland and San Francisco International Airport.
Speaking on her appointment, Nichol said: “ACI-NA plays a vital role in advancing our industry, and I am honoured to serve as Chair at such an important moment.
I look forward to working with our board, members, staff and partners to strengthen airports, support our workforce, and deliver safe and innovative experiences for passengers.”
Nichol previously served as Chair of ACI-NA’s Board Finance Committee and was a member of the U.S. Policy Council.
ACI-NA also announced the election of Jason Terreri, Executive Director of the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority, as Vice Chair, with Kevin Dolliole taking the role of Immediate Past Chair.
