The Menzies Aviation ground handling operation in Germany has welcomed several new airline routes at stations across the country along with passenger handling contracts.

Hamburg Airport has added two daily flights for Sun-Air of Scandinavia, flying to Friedrichshafen. Munich Airport has welcomed a new contract with BA CityFlyer, adding three daily flights to London City Airport.

And Frankfurt Airporthas begun daily flights for Ukraine International Airlines starting on 1 February 2019. This will increase to two daily flights for the summer season between March and October.

Menzies Germany began operations in March 2017, providing passenger handling services at four of the country’s busiest airports: Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.

General manager Germany, Ingo Schnitger said: “We are very proud of our hard working staff in Germany. Our team likes challenges and growing with them, and it is a pleasure to see them adapting to a new challenge, either an entirely new customer or a new route for an existing customer.”
