Corendon Airlines and Optifly have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance schedule and slot management capabilities.
As part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy, Corendon Airlines will implement Optifly’s newly developed Schedule & Slot Management solution including OptiSched, OptiSlots and OptiAI, becoming the first airline to adopt this new tool.
By taking this step, Corendon Airlines reinforces its commitment to strengthening internal planning processes, increasing transparency, and ensuring scalable, data-driven network management.
Efficient schedule development and professional slot coordination are key pillars of the airline’s sustainable growth strategy.
Thomas Weimann, Head of Network Planning & Scheduling of Corendon, said: “Optifly is not just a traditional scheduling tool, but a modern platform that combines scheduling, embedded intelligence and a clear pathway to advanced optimisation.
“The platform allows us to implement schedule changes much faster and evaluate a wide range of planning scenarios when modelling growth plans or responding to operational changes.
“It also strengthens our slot management capabilities and provides strong reporting and analytics tools that help our teams identify opportunities to improve utilisation, reduce operational risk and enhance the commercial performance of our network.”
Daniel Mulcahy, CCO of Optifly, said: “Corendon represents an exciting partnership for Optifly because its operation reflects a different airline model to that of many of the carriers we work with.
“Leisure-focused airlines with strong tour operator relationships require planning systems that can manage seasonal networks and dynamic operational needs.
“We are delighted to support Corendon as they modernise their planning environment with a platform that combines modern scheduling technology today with a clear pathway to advanced optimisation in the future.”
