Delta Air Lines has announced new routes including linking Cleveland Hopkins International Airport with a non-stop weekly Airbus A319 flight beginning 8 July to its Salt Lake City International Airport hub.
Salt Lake City service marks the eighth Delta non-stop destination from Cleveland, bringing an increase of Delta peak day departures to over 40 per cent and seat levels by 100 per cent in the last five years.
Salt Lake City Department if Airport executive director, Bill Wyatt said: “This new service helps to fill the gap in service between the Midwest and Utah, providing Clevelanders ease of access in time to enjoy the state’s national parks and many other outdoor events and activities Salt Lake City offers our summer visitors.”
Delta has also launched a new non-stop six-day service between Chattanooga Airport and New York-LaGuardia Airport from 9 July – to be operated by Delta Connection carrier Endeavor Air on a CRJ-900 aircraft.
The new LaGuardia service will complement existing Delta flights, offering 12 peak-day departures from Chattanooga with global connections via the airline’s hubs at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
