dnata has won a multi-year ground handling contract with easyJet at Zurich Airport in Switzerland.
The partnership will see dnata provide its full range of passenger, ramp and baggage services to the low-cost carrier.
The dnata team will handle 640,000 passengers on easyJet’s 3,800 annual flights.
The new contract expands collaboration between the two parties in Switzerland, with the ground handler having provided all de-icing services for easyJet in Geneva since 2022.
Willy Ruf, managing director of dnata Switzerland, said: “We are delighted to have furthered our partnership with easyJet.
“We thank the airline’s team for their continued trust in our best-in-class ground handling services and look forward to extending our successful collaboration.
“We will continue to invest in our team, infrastructure and equipment to deliver the highest value for our customers.”
dnata currently operates at two Swiss airports, Zurich and Geneva, providing a range of ground handling and cargo services to more than 30 airlines with 1,100 customer-oriented employees.
In the 2023-24 financial year, dnata’s team assisted a total of eight million passengers and moved more than 90,000 tonnes of cargo in Geneva and Zurich.
