Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) continues to expand its impressive scope of destinations with a new route revealed to Debrecen, Hungary’s second largest city and one of the country’s most important cultural centres.
Tickets for Wizz Air flights to Debrecen, Hungary, go on sale today (14 May 2018); holiday makers and culture seekers alike will be able to take advantage of the two flights per week starting from 16 December 2018.
Debrecen is the capital of Hungary’s Northern Great Plain region and once Europe’s largest Calvinist City. There are plenty of attractions to visit that reflect the city’s former glory such as The Nagytemplom, The Deri Museum and Hortobágy National Park, rich with folklore and cultural history. The city is also just over a two-hour train journey from the capital Budapest.

Doncaster Sheffield Airport’s expansive repertoire of destinations already extends to 55 destinations and with new routes being released regularly, the airport is proving to be a convenient choice for passengers travelling from Yorkshire and beyond.
