easyJet to expand holidays division after strong first-half results

easyJet, the major European low-cost carrier, is set to expand its easyJet Holidays division after reporting strong results for the first half of 2018.

CEO, Johan Lundgren, stated that the airline would expand its Holdays division with further investment as well as adding a loyalty scheme to compete against rivals, TUI and Thomas Cook.

The CEO also mentioned attracting business passengers to using the airline.

In the winter half-period easyJet posted a profit of 8 million GBP.
