Ethiopian Airlines' postpones start of new Istanbul route

Ethiopian Airlines has put back the launch of a new route from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport to Istanbul Airport due to the delay in the issuance of operating permit and landing slots by the Turkish Aviation Authority.

The airline had originally planned to start the new four-weekly connection on 5 December but said it will now take-off on 4 March 4, 2019 and said it “regrets this unexpected delay”.

Similarly, Ethiopian’s planned service to Moscow Domodedovo Airport is now delayed to mid-December 2018, as nonstop flight instead of one stop.
