Etihad Airways announces summer season flights

Etihad Airways will launch seasonal flights at a rate of two flights per week to Crete, Greece’s most important island, from June 15, 2022.

Crete sits on the Aegean Sea, allowing holidaymakers to enjoy the most beautiful natural views, delicious dishes and rich culture that strike deep into history with all its heritage and thousands of years of archaeological sites, such as the Palace of Nosos, Europe’s oldest palace of about 4,000 years.

The airline will also resume flights to Málaga, Santorini and Zanzibar.

Martin Drew, Senior Vice President, Sales and Shipping, said: “Etihad Airways is pleased to provide more options for guests wishing to spend special holidays during the summer season.”

“Crete is an ideal destination for travellers looking for a beach-mountain experience, and Málaga, Santorini and Zanzibar are premium additions to Etihad’s summer network.”
