The EU is planning a digital green pass allowing travel for those who have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

The pass will also include other information including results of a recent test for the virus or proof of immunity.

The plan is due to be in place by March 17 before being presented to member states leaders on March 25.

It was confirmed by EU President Ursula von der Leyen on Monday when she said on Twitter: “The Digital Green Pass should facilitate Europeans’ lives.

“The aim is to gradually enable them to move safely in the European Union or abroad – for work our tourism.”
