EULEN Aviation has secured a three-year ground handling contract with Avianca at Tampa International Airport.

The ground services company will commence handling operations after 30 March 2025, when Avianca will begin its new Tampa-Bogotá service.

EULEN Aviation will provide passenger and baggage services, wheelchair assistance, ramp operations, lavatory and water services and secure cabin cleaning.

In a LinkedIn post, the company said: “EULEN Aviation is excited to announce its new three-year partnership with Avianca Airlines, Colombia’s largest airline and a proud member of Star Alliance.

“Starting 30 March 2025, Avianca will operate a new TPA–BOG route, enhancing connectivity between Tampa and Bogotá with four weekly flights on the Airbus A320.

“As part of this collaboration, EULEN Aviation will provide comprehensive ground handling services, including passenger and baggage services, wheelchair assistance, ramp operations, lavatory and water services and secure cabin cleaning.

“We look forward to welcoming Avianca to Tampa and providing exceptional service to its passengers!”

The company added that the partnership highlights EULEN Aviation’s commitment to delivering reliable ground handling solutions and exceptional passenger services at Tampa International Airport.

EULEN Aviation has already commenced staff training at Tampa, where the company currently employs 108 personnel and provides services for major carriers including Delta Air Lines, Aeromexico, American Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, Havana Air and Invicta Charters.

Avianca also recently announced the launch of a new direct route between Dallas and Bogotá from 26 May 2025 with four weekly flights.
