Eye Airports appoints industry expert Steve South

Eye Airports, the market leader in UK regional airport advertising, has appointed experienced media industry expert Steve South as Commercial Director, following the company’s acquisition by outdoor advertising specialist CP Media Group in October 2019.

The acquisition of Eye Airports added over 100 digital sites and a huge number of static outdoor positions to CP Media’s ever growing portfolio of more than 3,000 advertising sites, which are situated in some of the UK’s busiest city and town centre locations.

Steve will be focussed predominantly on working with the Eye Airports portfolio of clients and advertisers. In his role he will help to grow highly effective opportunities to develop targeted high dwell time locations, complementing the company’s existing collection of high footfall transport hubs throughout the UK.

He brings 30 years’ sector experience to the role, gathered through Regional Managing Director positions and by leading teams in high profile media organisations, such as the Guardian Media Group, BBC, News UK and Bauer Media (formerly EMAP).
