Finnair, the Official Airline of Santa Claus, has started the countdown to Christmas with a flash sale for its most festive customers.
With exactly 100 days till Christmas, Finnair has launched savings on its routes to Lapland, giving customers the chance to make their own Christmas miracle this year.
The limited-time campaign comes as the airline prepares to operate its biggest ever schedule to Lapland this winter, with up to 31 daily flights to the region’s gateways of Ivalo, Kemi-Tornio, Kittila, Kuusamo and Rovaniemi – The Official Hometown of Santa Claus.
The new winter schedule marks a 27% increase in Finnair flights to Lapland versus 2023, with customers heading for Rovaniemi now able to choose from flights departing as often as every 30 minutes during peak periods.
Return flights to the capital of Christmas can be booked for as little as £227 in Economy, including taxes and charges as part of the sale, while Business Class fares start at only £659.
Finnair customers can make the most of the special fares when booking flights between now and 26 September 2024, for travel between 1 October 2024 and 13 February 2025.
Anssi Partanen, Finnair market director Europe, said: “As the Official Airline of Santa Claus, we are excited to be starting the Christmas countdown with our current campaign fares.
“With just 100 days to go, now is the time for those both young and old to book their trip to Finland’s winter wonderland, making memories set to last a lifetime.
“And with up to 31 flights per day to Lapland’s key gateways, the search for Santa has never been easier with Finnair.”
