Air Arabia Maroc has started a new once a week route from Basel’s EuroAirport to Agadir in Morocco – utilising a 174-seater Airbus A320.
The carrier started the connection on 29 October to Agadir, which is located on the south Atlantic coast of Morocco.
EuroAirport celebrated the arrival of the first flight on touchdown with a traditional water salute performed by the airport’s fire brigade.
This new connection complements the existing route operated by Air Arabia Maroc since 2010 from EuroAirport to Casablanca, which currently runs three times a week.
Air Arabia Maroc currently operates flights on 54 European routes from six cities in Morocco: Agadir, Casablanca, Fez, Tangier, Marrakech and Nador.
