Frankfurt-Hahn Airport Group sells to SWIFT CONJOY

The insolvency administrator for the companies of the Frankfurt-Hahn Airport Group, Dr Jan Markus Plathner, has successfully completed the transaction process for the assets of Frankfurt-Hahn Airport Group, by selling the business operations to SWIFT CONJOY GmbH, based in Frankfurt.

The closing of the contract is still subject to conditions. The contracting parties assume that these will be fulfilled promptly. All employees will be taken over by the acquirer.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the contract.

Insolvency administrator Dr Jan Markus Plathner explains: “We are very pleased that the bidding process has been successfully concluded. Until the contractual conditions are met, flight operations will continue under the insolvency proceedings, followed by the purchaser.

“Due to the strong demand and the successful implementation of various measures, the airport is operating again economically stable both in passenger and cargo traffic.”

Tobias Steyer and Martin Mansell, Managing Directors of SWIFT CONJOY say: “We are very pleased to have been awarded the contract in the bidding process and to continue and substantially expand passenger and cargo operations at Hahn.

“This also includes investments and the creation of new jobs in the region.”
