Greek ground handler Goldair Handling has appointed Athina Kapeni as senior aviation expert and business development advisor to BoD.
Priory to join Goldair she worked for a range of major international companies in the aviation industry in senior roles.
These have included Olympic Airways leading ground handling, Athens International Airport’sestablishment of competition in Greece and leading concessions, Hermes Airports in Cyprus, in Larnaca and Pafos for airport privatisation and opening, and lastly with Celebi Aviation Holding as VP of global sales & marketing and a member of the executive board.
The ground handler said it looks forward to Kapeni “contributing to global business development and value creation in the provision of services”.
Goldair works with more than 120 airlines across Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria including Aegean Airlines, Aeroflot, Air France, Alitalia, American Airlines, Arkia Israeli, Astra Airlines, Cyprus Airways, Emirates, Etihad, Gulf Air, KLM, LOT, Lufthansa, NetJets, Olympic Air, SAS, Tarom, and Turkish Airlines.
