Goldair launches ground handling services at Indian airport

Goldair Handling India has announced its entry into Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Airport in the city of Nagpur, India.

Following a successful competitive process, Goldair Handling India (Nagpur) is set to commence operations at the crucial and growing Nagpur Airport within the first half of 2024.

The company will provide aircraft handling, passenger services and cargo management, expanding its presence in India, following its entry into the airports of Bagdogra and Udaipur. This airport ranks the 36th in the company’s network.

Mr. Alexandros Fourlas, vice chairman of the board of directors at Goldair Handling and CEO of Goldair Handling India (Nagpur), said: “Our entry into Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Airport, Nagpur, is a significant step in the development of our international activities.

“As part of our development strategy, we are expanding our presence in the growing market of India and focusing on selected markets of interest, leveraging our outward orientation, technological expertise and our personnel as a driving force.”
