Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, has successfully conducted a company-wide emergency drill at the airline’s headquarters using virtual resources to connect all stakeholders on and off site at the same time.
The drill’s objective was to conduct the standard processes and procedures virtually in compliance with the current situation.
The planned emergency drill, performed at the airline’s headquarters in coordination with the Emergency Response department, served as a refresh to Gulf Air employees for emergency preparedness and equip them in the event that an actual emergency situation is in place.
The drill aimed to assess the adequacy of plans and procedures in the event of an emergency and its successful and seamless completion provided Gulf Air staff with a valuable opportunity to learn and enhance their emergency preparedness level.
