Hartsfield-Jackson appoints Jai Ferrell Assistant General Manager of Commercial Development

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) has recently appointed Jai Ferrell interim assistant general manager of commercial development. 

Ferrell brings more than 15 years of marketing experience in her new interim position. She will oversee the division responsible for properties and airline affairs, concessions, parking, advertising, external real estate development, air service development, and innovation.

Jai displays tremendous talent in so many areas, She is equipped and ready to lead the team.”   Airport General Manager John Selden said.

Ferrell most recently served as the Airport’s Director of Marketing for the last four years. During her tenure, she led global marketing strategy overseeing all marketing outreach, brand strategy efforts, social media content engagement, creative services and advertising programming and partnerships for all public-facing passenger engagement and non-aeronautical, revenue-generating programs. Additionally, she is responsible for promotional efforts for the Airport’s award-winning food, beverage and retail program, ATL Skypointe, which generates over 1 billion dollars in revenue annually.

A member of the 2019 Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 class, Ferrell earned a Bachelor of Arts in theater studies from Spelman College and a Master of Arts in communications from Georgia State University.
