Heathrow cancelled more than 100 flights over the weekend as storm batters UK again

Heathrow cancelled over a hundred flights over the weekend as bad weather was predicted in the UK over the last few days.

After warnings were put in place for weather around the UK, a significant number of flights were cancelled at the major London airport.

This included New York and Chicago flights – grounded by British Airways.

Domestic flights to Manchester and parts of Scotland were also cancelled, as ere many other flights to European destinations such as Geneva and Amsterdam.

British Airways did formally apologize for the cancellations as wintry, snowy bad weather hit the UK.
