Icelandair has announced Nashville, Tennessee, as a new destination in its ever-growing route network, which after the addition consists of 18 destinations in North America and 34 in Europe.

Icelandair will offer four flights a week to Nashville, from May 16, 2025 throughout October.

Nashville is an exciting new destination known for music, culture and cuisine. Often dubbed Music City, it is the world’s capital of country music, but also famous for pop, rock, gospel, jazz and more.

In RCA Studio B – “Home of 1,000 Hits”, visitors can see where Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers and many more recorded some of their top hit songs.

Yesterday, Icelandair and Southwest Airlines announced an upcoming bilateral partnership.

The initial North American gateway between Icelandair and Southwest Airlines will be Baltimore (BWI), with other destinations to follow.

Bogi Nils Bogason, Icelandair president and CEO: “We are very pleased to add Nashville to our extensive network in North America, linking Music City to our 34 destinations in Europe.

“We know travelers from the Southeast will greatly benefit from this new service and offer Tennesseans the best options to Iceland and beyond.

“Our new service will also allow travelers connecting through Nashville more choices throughout the US.

“In addition, we encourage passengers traveling to Europe, to take an Icelandair Stopover, and explore our home. We look forward to welcoming Nashville aboard.”
