Interjet Airlines and JetBlue announced a new bilateral interline agreement offering expanded travel options to passengers. Under the new partnership, passengers will have the convenience of purchasing a single ticket for flights on either airline with the ability to check bags from originating to final destination and enjoy easy connections at the airports served by both carriers.
“We are very excited to announce another very important bilateral interline agreement between Interjet and JetBlue,” said Julio Gamero, Interjet’s Chief Commercial Officer.
“This partnership will allow passengers from both airlines access to more amazing destinations across the U.S., and Mexico while JetBlue business and leisure travelers will be able to experience our unique brand of lower prices with free checked bags on select fares, business class legroom between every seat and great service,” he added.
JetBlue is New York’s Hometown Airline® with more than 1,000 flights a day to nearly 100 cities in the U.S., Caribbeanand Latin America.
As the fastest growing international airline in Mexico, Interjet provides service to 55 destinations in 10 countries including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. The airline has other partnership agreements with major carriers such as Alitalia, All Nippon Airways (ANA), American Airlines, British Airways, Emirates, Air Canada, LATAM Group, Iberia, Lufthansa, Hainan Airlines, Qatar Airlines and Japan Airlines.
